Goodbye GeoCities

GeoCities is one of the most websites that we grow up and uploaded our first web pages on it and used it to learn how to create a simple website for free. I remember that I used it a long time ago .. I heard about it and when I started to know a bit of web design basics, I started to use it . The old days of static web pages with table layouts, Ugly blue links, and Lots of text .

Yahoo is closing more services in those few months, and doesn’t have newer or better services . Even Meme is not that good to compete with other Microblogging services . I think we can just say what Pete said in Mashable, Goodbye Old Friend .
